Because of new drugs on the streets of Artesia, the Artesia Drug and Crime Coalition is striving harder than ever to help children and teens stay on a clean path.
“[The drugs] are destroying lives more than anyone ever expected,” said Nancy Husselman, manager of the Artesia Drug and Crime Coalition (ADCC), said at the Eddy County Commission meeting on Tuesday. “Eddy County is in a lot of trouble.” … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
The ADCC has been providing information about every known drug and treatment resources at any event that allows them to, Husselman said.
“We have had information booths at any place that we can,” said Sarah Mitchell, of the ADCC. “Coming up next week, we’ll have one at the Eddy County Fair.”
