ARTESIA — Artesia General Hospital (AGH) has announced that it will be receiving 2,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine next week, with that same amount anticipated to be received weekly for the next six weeks.

As reported in the Feb. 4 edition of the Daily Press, AGH made registration for a vaccine waiting list available to the public early this month at artesiageneral.com/covidvaccine. The hospital is now asking everyone who registered for that list to also register with the New Mexico Department of Health’s (NMDOH) database at cvvaccine.nmhealth.org if they have not already done so.

Registration on the NMDOH site will be required prior to administration of the vaccine, as per state procedures. Completing state registration in advance will help streamline the vaccination process.
