Unknown Male

The Artesia Police Department (APD) is still seeking one person of interest in connection with a death last week at a local hotel.

Just before 11 a.m. July 7, APD officers responded to Legacy Inn and Suites, 2210 W. Main St., in reference to an adult female who was unresponsive and not breathing. Ginger Acosta, 40, was pronounced dead a short time later by the Office of the Medical Investigator.

The APD announced last week that it was seeking two female persons of interest in connection with the case. Those individuals were subsequently interviewed by the APD Criminal Investigation Division and released.

On Tuesday, the APD announced it was seeking four new persons of interest: one known male and one known female, and one unknown male and one unknown female. Three of those individuals have also now been interviewed and released, with only the unknown male remaining to be questioned.

Anyone with potential information regarding the whereabouts of the pictured individual or the case itself is urged to contact the APD at 575-746-5000.
