Above, photographer Mike Lanfor of Roswell visits with participants in Saturday’s ARTesia Art Walk at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. Lanfor’s show, “A View of the American Southwest,” is on display through the end of the month at the OPAC and features a selection of images, such as the one at right, captured in New Mexico, Arizona and Utah using multiple mediums, from time lapse to aerial photography and more. The OPAC is open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Below, a collection of beautifully carved and decorated skulls was on display at Yum Yum Yogurt, created by local artist Justin Levario. Levario says he will custom carve and decorate “any skull.” Contact Subliminal Skulls at 513-1701 or www.subliminalskulls.com.
