A 49-year-old Artesia man was killed Saturday in a motorcycle wreck in Haskell County, Texas.
Michael Shane Lynchesky of Artesia was traveling west on U.S. 280 on a 2012 Harley Davidson at around 8 p.m. Saturday when he struck a deer in the roadway. Lynchesky suffered fatal injuries.
A passenger on the motorcycle – Patricia Danielle Denson, 46, also of Artesia – was listed in stable condition with non-incapacitating injuries after being taken to Haskell Memorial Hospital, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
