A Dollar General supply truck pulls away from the new Dollar General location at 1110 N. First St. early Wednesday afternoon. Inside, staff and manager Adeline Ramirez were anticipating the delivery of the store’s business license by the City of Artesia. Ramirez said she expected the license to arrive shortly and that the store would open immediately afterward. The new Dollar General is Artesia’s second. The first location in the Abo Shopping Center on 13th Street is remaining in business.
