The Motor Vehicle Department, located on 602 S. First St., has announced changes that have been developing behind its doors. Four new full-time employees have been hired, software has been updated, and the MVD has changed its hours. Hours are now 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekdays. “We’re much, much faster now,” said Lala Stroman, manager. “The waiting room used to be packed, and now there’s hardly ever a line.” Pictured from left are MVD employees Angela Granger, Julia Lara, Stroman, Marlena Lopez and Naomi Florez.
