Light parade, Santa, local shopping draw crowds downtown  At left, Daelon and Destin Pacheco express their Christmas wishes to Santa Claus Thursday evening at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center during the annual Light Up Artesia event. The festivities were enhanced this year by the addition of a light parade, which began at Bulldog Bowl and proceeded east to Roselawn Avenue, ushering in Santa and the arrival of the holiday season in Artesia.
