Artesia’s emergency services helipad opened Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Public Safety Complex.

The city’s newly constructed helipad, located behind Firehouse No. 1 off of Paddy Wagon Way, will be used to accommodate medivac helicopters provided by Tristate CareFlight. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
