The Artesia City Council has approved a new city ordinance regarding garbage collection and disposal. The “polycart” ordinance was approved by the council at Tuesday night’s meeting.

The new ordinance will set rules and regulations regarding the new polycarts that have replaced traditional dumpsters in some areas of the city.
