ARTESIA — Car enthusiasts and motorcyclists will have the chance to enjoy a ride into the scenic southeastern New Mexico mountains while raising funds for American Legion Post 28 Saturday during the Second Annual Cruz’n for Vets event.
The poker run, hosted by Penasco Valley Telecommunications, will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at PVT’s corporate headquarters, 4011 W. Main St. A color guard ceremony and blessing of the riders will take place at 8:30 a.m., and the first rider is set to roll out at 9 a.m. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
