Popular deli chain McAlister’s plans to have its incoming Artesia location up and running by this fall. The restaurant will be located in the lot on the southwest corner of Texas Avenue and Main Street, former site of the MVD and Eddy County sub-offices. McAlister’s is currently hiring. The location will be the primarily Southern and Midwestern chain’s third in New Mexico, with other restaurants based in Carlsbad and Albuquerque. Brienne Green – Daily Press
