Daily Press Staff Writer

Eddy County Detention Center Warden Shawn Funk appeared at the Eddy County Commission meeting Tuesday to announce a new vendor for commissary services for the jail’s inmates.

County regulations require that any services costing more than $50,000 be formally bid upon, and the bid was published between July 28 and Aug. 30 of this year.
