A Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Ram sit in a field on the corner of U.S. 285 and Fairgrounds Road Thursday afternoon following a two vehicle accident. The wreck was reported just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the Artesia Police Department, no individuals were transported to Artesia General Hospital. The New Mexico State Police was the investigating agency at the scene. No further details were available as of press time.
