The Artesia Drug and Crime Coalition are putting their best efforts toward putting an end to bullying in Artesia schools.
Recently the ADCC, a nonprofit organization, has been spending time with Artesia Junior High’s “Teens Talk” student group in an attempt to target student bullying and social aggression. According to a recent press release, the organization is hoping to raise awareness among students and spread information about a “Students Mentoring Students” program, physical bullying, cyber bullying and social aggressions.
“By visiting each Artesia school every semester in 2011 with new information about bullying … we hope to decrease the issue,” Sarah Mitchell, program coordinator for the ADCC, said in the release. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
