Artesia firefighters and police respond Wednesday afternoon to an electrical fire at 1105 W. Sears Ave. According to an Artesia Police Department officer on the scene, the fire seemed to have been caused by a neighbor cutting tree limbs. A limb came down and took out a power line to the house. There was minor damage to the house and limited damage to the electrical service line and pole. No injuries were reported.
