On Jan. 2, a retirement celebration was held in honor of Della Foster. Foster retired from Central Valley Electric Cooperative after more than 15 years of service.

Foster started working at CVE as a cashier in 2003. After a few years, she moved to the accounting department, where she finished her career as an accounting assistant.

Foster said the employees at CVE are what she liked most about her job and are what she will miss the most.

“CVE has great people and you can’t find a better place to work,” she said.

Foster plans to relax and take it easy for a bit but then plans to spend time with her family and do volunteer work in the community.

Central Valley Electric Cooperative would like to thank Della Foster for her years of dedicated service to the co-op.
