Girl Scout Troop No. 20009 members stand with food they, along with students of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church’s Confraternity of Christian Doctrine class, collected for needy families. The girls were able to make Thanksgiving baskets – complete with a turkey, cranberry sauce, and other typical Thanksgiving foods – that will be delivered to seven families in the Artesia area. Pictured from left are Father Francis Lazer of St. Anthony’s, Bella Salazar, Ella Gallegos, Jackie Tovar, Marcelina Mendoza, Raquel Garcia, Alani Garcia, Marisa Martin, Fatima Mendoza, Aubree Ortega and Mireya Fabela.
