When he isn’t busy being Artesia’s Treasurer and City Clerk, Aubrey Hobson has continued to write and perform music with various bands for more than 30 years and produce more than six albums of material because of “the power of music.”
“We love it when our fans get up and dance to our music,” Hobson said. “The other night we had a lady tell us, ‘I haven’t danced in 10 years.’ That’s neat, and it really makes it worthwhile for us. That’s the power of music.” … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
Hobson first picked up a guitar as a 16-year-old, when his brother tried to teach him to play “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals.
