Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 2, at Terpening & Son Chapel for June Kay Smith of Artesia.
Smith, 63, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at her home.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
Smith was born June 25, 1952, in Artesia, the daughter of Harper V. Patman and Peggy (House) Patman. She was a longtime area resident.
She was a medical secretary and enjoyed reading, beading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include son B.J. Smith of Gilmer, Texas; daughters Crystal Bernard of Roswell and Lisa Arzaga of Hobbs; brother Johnny Patman of Artesia; sister Patricia Lampkin of Las Cruces; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Deborah Patman.
