Two known felons were arrested Monday by the Artesia Police Department following a brief chase.
According to Sgt. Lindell Smith of the APD, Adrian Gutierrez, 33, and Alfonso Sifuentes, 28, both of Artesia were booked Monday on charges of felon in possession of firearms and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
According to the police report, Gutierrez and Sifuentes, driving an orange Buick, were pulled over at approximately 7:44 p.m. Monday by an APD officer. Once the vehicle pulled over near the corner of Sixth Street and Champ Clark Avenue, the pair exited the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot.
