Construction on the new La Quinta Inn and Suites adjacent Pecos Inn is slated to be completed by the first part of June, according to Superintendent Klaude Priebe of TP Corporation of Albuquerque. “Things are going well,” Priebe said. “The next couple of weeks, things will pick up. The public will see more people coming in for the completion work. As soon as the roof goes on, which is about to happen, things will go full swing. The stucco guys will come in to put up sheet rock and interior walls, along with completing the electrical, all in the next two weeks.” The three-story hotel will house 67 rooms, an indoor pool, business center, and other standard La Quinta amenities.
