The Artesia Public Library, through partner organization Friends of the Artesia Public Library, is now seeking sponsors to join the library as they prepare for the 2024 Summer Reading Program, themed Adventure Begins at Your Library.

The annual Summer Reading Program draws massive participation, with 816 registered readers and 4,503 program attendees who read a total of 8,165 books last year during June and July.

Donations allow the library to offer a program that is not only educational and engaging, but also free to all participants. Funds can be directed toward promotional materials, bringing in nationally known performers, and prizes sure to encourage reading engagement even without school-year performance pressure.

To become involved with Adventure Begins at Your Library, companies and individuals can scan the Greater Artesia Foundation QR Code, drop off donations in person at the Artesia Public Library, or donate by mail to:

Friends of the Artesia Public Library
205 W. Quay Ave.
Artesia, N.M. 88210

Donations are due April 17 by the end of day to ensure all company logos can be formatted and placed before promotional materials have been created.
