Man charged with DWI after striking parked car, fleeing scene

An Artesia man is under arrest charged with DWI following an incident that took place Thursday in the area of Grand Avenue and Seventh Street.
According to the Artesia Police Department, an officer arrived at the intersection of Grand and Seventh around 11:35 p.m. Thursday in reference to a motor vehicle crash. The officer found a white 2005 Ford F150 stopped at the southeast corner of Richardson Avenue and Seventh Street.
