An Artesia man wanted on charges of criminal sexual contact of a minor has been apprehended.
The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office solicited the public’s assistance in locating Raul G. Delgado Jr., 47, of Artesia, wanted on two felony warrants, in late December. According to court documents, Delgado was taken into custody by the FBI Dec. 28 in Albuquerque.
He made his first appearance in Artesia Magistrate Court Jan. 4 and is now scheduled to appear Jan. 16 for preliminary examination before acting magistrate judge D’Ann Read.
