McDonald’s owner/operator Nic Snowberger has announced that, in an effort to help furloughed government employees during the federal shutdown, his McDonald’s restaurants in Artesia and Roswell will be offering a free meal a day to those employees.

Employees must bring in their check stub showing $0 in pay received; a McDonald’s team member will write the date on the stub, and the employee will receive a free meal.

The offer applies to Artesia’s McDonald’s at 210 S. First St., as well as McDonald’s locations in Roswell at 730 N. Main St., 4100 N. Main St., 1804 S. Main St., and 4500 N. Main St. (inside Wal-Mart).
