Drivers along Main Street slowed to avoid drenching moviegoers sloshing their way to the Landsun Theater Saturday as steady rain fell in Artesia. As of Tuesday, the New Mexico State University Ag Science Center had reported 3 inches of precipitation in the area. The wet weather is projected to continue throughout the coming week.
