ARTESIA — The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will be holding a public information meeting Thursday, Feb. 28, at City Hall, 511 W. Texas Ave., to discuss an ADA enhancement project scheduled along First Street (U.S. 285) from Hermosa Drive to Richey Avenue.


An open house will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. The public meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to meet with NMDOT staff and ask questions about plans for the ADA enhancement work. Enhancement work will include minor geometric modifications, ADA ramps and other miscellaneous work to bring intersections into ADA compliance.
