NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma senior pitcher Keilani (kay-LAH’-nee) Ricketts opened the 2013 softball season with a no-hitter and a home run in leading OU to a 6-0 win over Stanford in the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

Ricketts struck out 14 and walked three in Friday’s win.

Ricketts added a solo homer as the Sooners went back-to-back-to-back with home runs during a 5-run first inning. OU opened the inning with a hit batter and a walk followed by a home run from Jessica Schults. Ricketts followed with a home run and Shelby Pendley followed with another homer.

OU’s Lauren Chamberlain homered in the second inning to complete the scoring.
