TO THE EDITOR:
The Artesia Band Boosters Fourth Annual Sporting Clay Shoot was held on Saturday, June 10, at the Eddy County Shooting Range. The community support of the Artesia Band Boosters through sponsorships and donations was overwhelming, and once again proves that Artesia is truly The City of Champions.
The Bulldog bands are privileged to support, motivate and entertain the Bulldog athletes and fans at Bulldog sporting events, seasonal concerts, competitions and, of course, the Annual Cake Walk.
The band has the honor of playing Artesia’s unique Fight Song and Alma Mater at each event, both of which were composed and arranged by former Bulldog band director, Justin Bradbury. These songs are one of a kind… just like “The Pride of the Pecos Valley” Bulldog Band.
The Boosters would like thank all participants and recognize those sponsors and donors who “pulled” together to make the 4th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot a huge success. The funds raised from this event will benefit all Bulldog band students, Grades 6 12, and will go towards travel, uniforms, equipment, scholarships for band camp and scholarships for graduating senior band students.
Our Orange Sponsors were AFS Energy Services, Asher Ultrasound Services, LLC, Catalyst Oilfield Services, Navajo Refining, Pecos Valley Equipment, Peñasco Valley Telephone, Safari Club International, Southwest Concrete and Tate Branch Dodge.
Our White Sponsors were 3 & 1 Construction, LLC, Big Chief Trading Post, Central Valley Electric, Concho Resources, Deans Inc., EOGY Resources, Regeneration Energy Corp., Smile Xpressions and Wilbanks Trucking.

Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Artesia Band Boosters
