In response to the letter to the editor published May 17, 2016:
I never meant to “unprofessionally call anyone out.” I was identifying the person that contacted the county for help and support on proposed rule changes on gas flaring. It is very interesting that when my opinion is contrary to the opinions of others supporting my opponent, I somehow don’t understand the issues.
I understand that we as a Board of Commissioners did not desire a large sum of general fund money to be spent on legal expenses for our defense as well as the tax assessor’s defense.
