TO THE EDITOR:

To all descendants of Eunice Chaney Tidwell: Eunice was my first cousin – I visited her there in 1994 and met her daughter, Elizabeth (Jones) Cook. They shared family history.

I want to share pictures and the results of my many years of research on their family.

Elizabeth Cook wrote to me in 1994 and was working at Artesia General Hospital. She said her daughter lived in Albuquerque but didn’t give the daughter’s name. Eunice Tidwell had seven sons and another daughter, Alma Means.
