I want to thank everyone who helped to make this year’s Russell Floore Memorial Student Art Show another success.
We beat last year’s attendance record, and the final total for the student silent auction sales came to $756 — all of which goes directly to our student artists! We couldn’t have done it without the support of the Artesia Public Schools, and of course our wonderful art teachers: Juli Newton (Zia Intermediate School), Kyle Kimple and Jennifer Duff (Park Junior High School), and Tim Trentham and Tiffany Pascal (Artesia High School).
I especially want to recognize our event sponsors: Central Valley Electric, the City of Artesia, and the Artesia Historical Museum and Art Center Foundation — your generosity and support is appreciated.
