TO THE EDITOR:
There are several companies in Artesia that are very supportive of our youth and schools. One wonderful example is Yates Petroleum.
Artesia Zia Intermediate School sent 100 students to Lubbock to experience forces and motion, a unit the students have been studying. Since we were going for a very long day, the students were going to need snacks and water. Yates Petroleum very kindly paid for what we needed.
We greatly appreciate their generosity.
