ARTESIA MAGISTRATE COURT

Judge Daniel Reyes Jr.

Steven P. Rodriguez, 18, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI (first offense), failure to maintain traffic lanes, driving without a license, no proof of financial responsibility, and possession of alcoholic beverages by a minor. Sentenced to 364 days of supervised probation and ordered to complete 124 hours of community service. Total fines and fees $901.

Adilene Molina—Bibiano, 24, of Artesia, scheduled for a pre—trial conference on charges of battery upon a household member.

Sept. 23

 

Efrain Archuleta, 41, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of possession of a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jason W. Phillips, 43, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for preliminary hearing

Aug. 19

on charges of aggravated battery upon a household member with a deadly weapon. In a separate judgment, Phillips was found guilty of turning movements and required signals, and expired registration. Total fines and fees $177.

Jose Luis Gutierrez—Rodriguez, 18, of Artesia, found guilty of being a public nuisance. Sentenced to 165 days of probation. Total fines and fees $73.

Wallace Grado, 22, of Artesia, found guilty of driving on a revoked license. Sentenced to seven days’ confinement. Total fines and fees $431.

George Randall Hale, 58, of Los Lunas, scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on charges of four counts of burglary of a vehicle, two counts of larceny over $20,000, four counts of criminal damage over $1,000, three counts of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, and one count of tampering with evidence.

Rickey L. Jimenez Jr. pleaded no contest to trespassing. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 80 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to not be on the property of Abo Apartments. Total fines and fees $129. In a separate judgment, Jimenez pleaded no contest to manufacture, possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 80 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.

Alejandro R. Martinez pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to four days in the Artesia Detention Center at a rate of $58 per day for $247 in fines and fees. In a separate judgment, Martinez pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to comply with conditions of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $229.

Dion Ricco Ochoa pleaded no contest to assault and disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 180 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 150 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to have no unlawful contact with the victim. Total fines and fees $458.

Monica M. Ramirez pleaded guilty to permitting unauthorized persons to drive and interference with officers. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC with 75 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to install an ankle monitor. Total fines and fees $208.

Lance E. Ochoa found guilty of assault and disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 180 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 150 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to have no unlawful contact with the victim. Total fines and fees $458.

Michael R. Sanchez Jr. pleaded no contest to two counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to eight days in the Artesia Detention Center at a rate of $58 per day for $462 in fines and fees.

Ramiro Lerma pleaded guilty to mandatory financial responsibility, unlawful use of a suspended license, and display of a current valid registration plate. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 86 days suspended. Total fines and fees $522.

Carla J. Juarez pleaded guilty to manufacture, possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 90 days suspended and 45 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.

Asaiah J. Allen pleaded guilty to operators and chauffeurs must be licensed, amended from unlawful use of a suspended or revoked license. Total fines and fees $54.

Michael W. Solt pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a revoked license. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 83 days suspended. Total fines and fees $329.

Christopher Noble pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to appear for sentencing. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 85 days suspended. Total fines and fees $229. In a separate judgment, Noble pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to one day in the Artesia Detention Center at a rate of $58 per day for $54 in fines and fees.

Melanie N. Villegas pleaded not guilty and was found guilty of contempt of court, failure to appear. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC with 82 days suspended and ordered to install an ankle monitor. Total fines and fees $229. In a separate judgment, charges of shoplifting were dismissed with prejudice against Villegas due to a necessary witness not being present for trial.

Marybell P. Aguilar pleaded no contest to aggravated operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor or drugs (first offense), consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages in a vehicle, and required position and method of turning at an intersection. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 88 days suspended, credit two hours served, and 365 days of supervised probation, and ordered to complete alcohol screening, DWI school and community service and to install ignition interlock. Total fines and fees $607.

Sara L. Duran pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to comply with electronic home detention. Sentenced to 15 days in the Artesia Detention Center. Total fines and fees $29. In a separate judgment, Duran pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to comply with conditions of supervised probation. Sentenced to 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $29.

Benjamin Ybarra Valdez pleaded guilty to three counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 11 days in the Artesia Detention Center at a rate of $58 per day for $641 in fines and fees.

Jonathan T. Galli pleaded guilty to petty larceny/fraud. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC with 75 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to install an ankle monitor and not be on the property of Wal—Mart. Total fines and fees $129.
