David G. Hammond, 52, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for pretrial conference Sept. 23 on two counts of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Echo Derrick, 30, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for preliminary hearing Sept. 2 on charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Trueblood, 28, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for pretrial hearing Sept. 30 on charges of battery upon household member and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher B. Huerta, 44, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for pretrial hearing Sept. 30 on charges of battery upon a household member.

Jeanie L. Vera found guilty of two counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Defendant paid fines and fees in full and was released.

Eric Herrera pleaded no contest to exposing others to the danger of deadly weapons. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 90 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.

Mark D. Gomez pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a suspended license. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 86 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $229.

Sandra M. Creamer pleaded no contest to operators and chauffeurs must be licensed, amended from unlawful use of a suspended or revoked license. Total fines and fees $54. In a separate judgment, Creamer pleaded guilty to operators and chauffeurs must be licensed, amended from unlawful use of a suspended or revoked license. Total fines and fees $54.

Arthur F. Holtz III found guilty of three counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Defendant paid fines and fees in full and was released.

Alfonso Romero pleaded guilty to four counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 20 days in the Artesia Detention Center at a rate of $58 per day for $1,170 in fines and fees.

Monica J. Soto pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC with 75 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to install an ankle monitor and not be on the property of Wal—Mart. Total fines and fees $129.

Catlin T. Mayberry pleaded guilty to manufacture, possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC with 75 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to install an ankle monitor. Total fines and fees $129.

Brandon L. Jimenez pleaded guilty to petty larceny/fraud. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 80 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $229.

Charges of operators and chauffeurs must be licensed dismissed with prejudice against Katelyn J. Troublefield due to defendant providing proof of valid license. In a separate judgment, Troublefield pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to appear on summons as ordered. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 90 days suspended. Total fines and fees $129. In a separate judgment, Troublefield was found guilty of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Defendant paid fines and fees in full and was released.

Joseph C. Medina pleaded guilty to contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to three days in the Artesia Detention Center at a rate of $58 per day for $185 in fines and fees. Total fines and fees $29.

Jolynn L. Welch pleaded guilty to operators and chauffeurs must be licensed, amended from unlawful use of a suspended or revoked license, and mandatory financial responsibility. Total fines and fees $183.

John M. Andress pleaded not guilty and was found guilty of vehicle approaching or entering an intersection. Total fines and fees $79.

Jessica Garcia pleaded no contest to interference with officers. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 90 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.
