  • Theodore M. Fernando, 34, of New Laguna, scheduled to appear Nov. 9 for pretrial conference on charges of second offense aggravated DWI, careless driving and open container first offense.
  • Escolastico Reza, 39, of Artesia, charge of battery against a household member was dismissed.
  • Michael A. Jimenez, 25, of Artesia, found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to three days at ECDC.
  • Bryce Prouty, 20, of Carlsbad, scheduled to appear Nov. 9 for probation violation hearing.
  • Shauntiqua F. Fuller, 23, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 19 for preliminary examination on charges of forgery, concealing identity, shoplifting and probation violation sentencing hearing. Found guilty of concealing identity. Sentenced to 90 days at ECDC. Total fines and fees $73.
  • Anthony R. Romero, 22, of Roswell, scheduled to appear Nov. 9 for pretrial conference on charges of unlawful use of license/suspended, speeding, no proof of insurance and expired registration.
  • Donald L. Hutson, 63, of Lake Arthur, scheduled to appear Nov. 9 for pretrial conference on charge of battery against a household member.
  • Jose Lujan, 21, of Artesia, found guilty of probation violation. Sentenced to 35 days at ECDC, 63 days supervised probation and 30 days in a treatment program. Total fines and fees $100.
  • Gilbert R. Saiz, 32, of Artesia, charge of battery against a household member was dismissed.
  • Cassi J. Rincon, 29, of Carlsbad, found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and speeding. Charge of expired registration was dismissed. Total fines and fees $410.
