Keith Edward Humphrey, 33, of Wauchula, Fla., scheduled to appear Jan. 23, 2019, for preliminary examination on charges of aggravated assault, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to a vehicle.

Robert Verdoza, 24, of Artesia, found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to six days in ECDC. In a separate action, Verdoza was scheduled to appear Jan. 23, 2019, for a probation violation hearing.

Teri D. Byrd, 32, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Feb. 13, 2019, for pretrial conference on charges of careless driving and failure to yield.

Robert Edward Hamilton, 31, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Jan. 16, 2019, for an extradition hearing on charges of being a fugitive from justice on a Jefferson County, Texas, warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Brandy Angelica Montanez, 36, of Dexter, found guilty of unlawful use of a license. Sentenced to four days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $200.

ARTESIA MUNICIPAL COURT

Lacey E. Dean found guilty of DWI. Sentenced to 365 days of supervised probation with the Eddy County Alternative Sentencing Unit. Total fines and fees $489. Charges of operators and chauffeurs must be licensed and reckless driving were dismissed by the prosecutor. Charges of mandatory financial responsibility were dismissed upon proof of valid insurance.

Samuel J. Perez found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 90 days of supervised probation with the Eddy County Alternative Sentencing Unit. Total fines and fees $229.

Frances O. Lara found guilty of failure to pay fines. Defendant paid fines and fees in full and was released.
