The Artesia RC Club received approval at Tuesday’s City Council meeting for the use of Jaycee Park for its inaugural Helicopter Fun Fly.

The officers of the RC Club held the event’s first organizational meeting Saturday morning. The event is set for Feb. 21-22 on four acres of ground at the rear of the park.
