Central Valley Electric Cooperative’s board of trustees has approved the lease of its old headquarters for six months to the 7024U youth outreach center.

In February 2013, the City Council voted to allow the outreach program to use the former Artesia Police Department, located at 702 W. Chisum Ave. The facility is in need of major repairs, however, that must be done before it can be occupied.
