Entries are required to be composed of at least 75 percent recycled materials for the contest. Artists incorporated everything from old T-shirts and aluminum cans to the denim used in the dress pictured above. An open house reception is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the Art Annex Gallery on Richardson Avenue. The show is sponsored by Artesia Clean & Beautiful.
