
Feature film shooting at KSVP studio in Artesia

Hollywood has taken control of the KSVP radio station in downtown Artesia this week, filming scenes for the upcoming feature film “Roswell FM.”
The radio station was selected for the main scene of the film representing a Roswell radio station where radio show host Jay Rathbone (Brendan Fehr of the “Roswell” television series and “X-Men: First Class”) becomes trapped in turmoil between the career he loves, a budding romance and the obligation to help a relative in financial distress. The film also features actor Jason London of “Dazed and Confused” fame.
According to “Roswell FM” producer Carl Lucas, filming is going very well and is scheduled to shoot in Artesia until Wednesday.
Lucas – who used to be employed at the station before relocating to Hollywood to make movies – says he is excited to be back in town working on a feature film. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
