A trio of concerts and a film festival are on the docket this month at The Liberty and Pecos Flavors Winery in Roswell.

At 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, The Liberty will host Texas country singer-songwriter Wade Bowen with guest the Judson Cole Band.

Bowen, who hails from Waco, Texas, released his first album, “Try Not To Listen,” in 2002 to acclaim in Texas and followed in 2008 with his junior studio album “If We Ever Make It Home,” his biggest success to date. The Judson Cole Band, of San Angelo, Texas, released their debut album, “Eastern Skies,” in 2012 and considers their sound as diverse as their backgrounds.

On May 19, Austin-based indie rock band Uncle Lucius with guest Jones and Miles will take The Liberty stage at 8 p.m.

Uncle Lucius released its fourth album, “The Light,” in June of 2015 and has a devoted fan following throughout Texas. Jones and Miles was established in Ruidoso and describes its sound as a mix American folk, bluegrass, country, rock and jazz/blues.

The Liberty will hold a Roswell Film Festival event May 21.

Pecos Flavors, meanwhile, will host a grill night from 6-8 p.m. May 20 before welcoming Grace Askew from 7-9 p.m. May 27.

Askew, from Memphis, Tenn., an alumnus of The Voice, delivers a mesh of blues and country. She released her album “Scaredy Cat” in August 2014 to acclaim and was profiled in Rolling Stone.

Tickets to Wade Bowen range from $15-$55, Uncle Lucius tickets are $13 each, and tickets to the film festival event are $15. To purchase, contact The Liberty at 627-2121. Tickets to Grace Askew are $10 each. To purchase, contact Pecos Flavors Winery at 627-6265.
