The National Weather Service and Skywarn will conduct a class next month for those interested in learning more about New Mexico’s unpredictable weather.

The Skywarn Class will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at the Public Safety Complex, 3300 W. Main St.

Attendees will be able to learn more about severe storms as well as how to become a spotter for the National Weather Service.

The class is free and open to the public. A full schedule is available at weather.gov/midland.
