With the start of the season just two weeks away — 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, against Carlsbad at the Bowl — the ‘Dogs are gearing up for action.

Two-a-days workouts commenced Monday (see below for photos), and the team will hold its intrasquad at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Morris Field. The public is invited to come get a first glimpse of this year’s team and enjoy free hot dogs.

Then at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, fans will be able to check out the new turf work at the Bowl during the Quarterback Club hamburger fry and intermural scrimmage against Organ Mountain. Tickets for the fry are $5 each and may be purchased from any Quarterback Club member or at the scrimmage.

See the second gallery below for photos from the Bulldogs’ Drills and Skills camp, held in late July at Jaycee Park.
