This year the First Tee Club of the Pecos Valley celebrated a major milestone with the expansion of their programs throughout Southeastern New Mexico. The club being approved for the operation to expand into locations throughout the region, caused the club name to change their name to “The First Tee of the Southeastern New Mexico.”
This year’s Camp held at the Artesia Country Club was sponsored by Navajo Refining Company and the Chase Foundation. The Camp day took place on July 15-17 and had a 140 participants, with several coaches to lead the camp which included PGA Golf Pro Juan Jimenez, Dusty Bean, Sug Floore, Chris Saxon and Paul Kirkwood among First Tee Coaching Staff and Artesia High School Golf Team. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
