Firefighter Darcee Colwell speaks to an attentive crowd of students at Yeso Elementary School this morning as part of a Fire Prevention Week presentation. The Thunderbirds were able to learn about fire safety and prevention methods, as well as what to do in the event of a fire. They then headed outside to view some of the Artesia Fire Department’s trucks and equipment.
