The Russell family recently donned their gloves and Toss No Mas t-shirts to clean up a portion of U.S.

82 West near their home west of Artesia. Pictured from left are Jennifer with Christopher, Justice, Amber, Haley, Maddie and Cassie, who spent a few hours last Saturday picking up 19 bags of trash along the highway.

They were joined by their mother, Christy, and Artesia Clean & Beautiful board member Nancy Terpening.

AC&B thanks the Russell family for their time and energy. Other Artesians wishing to participate in Toss No Mas are urged to join a cleanup Saturday, Sept. 28, or organize one any time between now and Oct. 31 to make Artesia, and the world, a better place.
