Saturday’s Fourth Annual Trick-or-Treat Main Street event drew throngs of families to the downtown district for a full afternoon and evening of candy, crafts, games, activities and entertainment. From Tyrannosaurus rex herds to Raggedy Anns, vampires, princesses and superheroes to Minions, Hogwarts students and video game characters, kids of all ages lined the streets for two solid hours collecting candy from downtown businesses after visiting the Artesia Historical Museum for a Dia de los Muertos celebration, the Boy Scouts’ annual Pumpkin Glow, and the Artesia Public Library for more Halloween Fun. The night culminated with a performance of “Dracula, Frankenstein and the Werewolf Return” at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center.
