A memorial service will be held for Debra Lynn Paden at a later date. Please refer to Terpening & Son Mortuarys website for updated service information, as cremation will take place under their direction. Miss Paden, 69, passed away on August 28, 2024. Debra was born to Jimmy Lewis May and Johnnie Lee May on December 13, 1954, in Artesia, NM. She married John Paden. Debra worked at Artesia General Hospital as a medical transcriber, in medical records, and other various positions in Artesia before retiring. She was devoted to her sisters and loved her family dearly. She loved to read and do hobbies around the house. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Skinny and Johnnie May; sisters, Peggy Bush, Patsy Bowen, Deanna Holder, and Glenna Wall; and husband, John Paden. Survivors include her sister, Jenny and husband Eddy Forlines; sons, Casey Wilson and Kevin Forlines; uncle Wayne Holder and many nieces and nephews. We will miss you Debra until we are with you again.
